Denzil: Thank you for your comment. Actually, I like the one I posted better also and for the exact same reasons that you stated. I think I'd like it a little more if it was a bit lighter, the whites a bit brighter.

I had planned on posting both and then asking people what they thought. Reason it was the "wrong" image was because when I do any PS manipulation, I want it understood up front that it was manipulated and what was done to it. Don't want anyone to think I was trying to pass off a manipulated photo as the original shot.

I actually like the "wrong image". I think the added motion animates this lifeless creature and gives it a sort of scary feeling adding more mood. First look gives me the feeling of a disturbed and enraged animal unleashing the bitterness of it captiviy. I really like the original post much better. Keep experimenting.

Just realized I uploaded the wrong image. This one is the correct one. I was playing with the one above to see what it would look like with motion added (think it fits the un-broken title a bit better). Need to stop naming things similarly.
