Found this great box canyon and luckily I had brought along my Nikon F70, CoolPix and a Mamiya RB67. But I later found out a pilot error caused the RB67 shot of this same composition had failed, and the image from the CoolPix was the most readily available to post. The F70 captured this scene as well as the CoolPix, but those haven\'t been digitized yet.
I kind of like the composition. Different angles I'm sure would have worked...as always..there are several different angles to every 'story'. I think a contrasty b&w would work too, as Joffre mentioned. Debbie
The colors and sharpness are excellent, but I find the composition somewhat cramped and awkward. The building is sort of falling off the edge on the right, and something else is intruding (though I can't easily tell what that stuff is). It's not clear if you're taking a picture of the mountains or of the building; which is foreground and which is background. If you made that more clear I think it would be a very strong image.
