About Well first of all I ran out of ideas for a title. Can anybody think of One?? Second I just love the water, although I can barely swim. Anyway did some cropping and increased the constrast and saturated it up just a bit. What dou you think???

Sussy,

Thank you for your comments. While I was waiting for sunset a the clouds came roaming in. So much for the sunset I went looking for something to shoot and remember reading about on how to use slow shutter speed. Oh yeah No filter was used at all.

wow you must of used a filter for this shot, Unless it was shot late in the evening. I think it is a gorgeous shot, but looking at that back wave it is less than 10seconds. but none the less is a very nice shot and specially the fact you shot it at a 200 speed film, would of been nice with velvia. I cant beileve you say your not good at swimming, for being in the navy and what looks from you pics you live in hawaii, thats not a good thing.

Dear LaMaro,

I like this one very much. It's really a marvellous composition - it's both, wild and smoothe. Congratulation.

Regards, Gerry

PS:thank you very much for your nice comment and by the way, I plan to visit kauai during July. I'm looking forward to explore this beautiful island and to capture such moments ;-)

Aloha LaMaro!

Before the title ... let's talk about the image and especially because I love the sea and like these kinds of images or I would not be living 2,300 miles way out in the Middle of the Pacific as you!

The composition was tricky for sure and I don't know how you could have avoided the lighter color rock or edge in the lower lefthand corner and so that is the 'Monkey-Wrench' of your composition. Per the attached ... I think I have solved that only problem with nothing else to perform because the exposure time, color, and contrast were all recorded quite well and I congratulate you therefore.

As for the title ... the location name of where the image was captured is always very helpful such as "MAKAHA OVERFLOW" or something along that line. Just a hint but I can't nail it ... only you can!

Mahalo for sharing and Best of Regards!

Hi me again, sorry i forgot to answer your question on Tresco, it's located on the Isles of Scilly, about 29 Miles from the South-west coast of England. i.e. off the coast of Cornwall. Tresco is the only settlement on this very small island. Cheers Neil

Hi LaMaro, i like this a lot. It's very similar to my "Liquid Power", by the way thanks for the comment! Sorry i can't help you with a title though. It reminds of icing sugar on a cake - but that has nothing to do with water :-) All the best from Switzerland, Neil

I think your selection of shutter speed was perfect. You captured the waters movement perfectly, while not overexposing the rest of the frame. Nice job! ...Brad
