Wow! Reminds me of my small hometown of 1,000 people.....True Photojournalism, it really tells a story, which is the whole point of the picture.

Ahhh memories, when Mummy pushed me into the beauty contest at the seaside brrrr I shudder now. Got rocks thrown at me in the carneval floats... ok change of subject. Ditto my last comment... I really like the more journalistic shots you've taken too, and this one is priceless, looks like she saying "hurry up gonna drop this damn heavy thing"
Splendid B&Wh capture Cherie :)

Aloha Jonathan... So glad you brought a piece of the fair back to share. This is a great street shot, with terrific DOF that sets the perfect sense of place with that Corn Dog sign. She's a Homespun Fair Beauty and you have captured her wonderfully. American funk reigns supreme...;-)

I wanna experience the fair with you! No fair. Ahem, anyway - outstanding, has an edge of "small town" truth to it. Wonder what she'll grow up to be?
