My son amid California poppies growing wild near Lancaster, CA. In a good year there are many, in a lean year there are few, and, well, this was taken in a good year.
Well, it was a while ago, 1998, but I don't think he was being mutinous, more just bored, like Vincent said, "not another picture, Dad!" He was 5 or 6 years old then, not old enough to object to being in the flowers. He even thought they were kind of cool, going on for acres and acres. His facial expression is indistinct because I had to lighten his face a lot to overcome the shadow.
oh daaaaaaad! not in the floweeeeerrs! I like the way its divided into 3 by the colours, and despite the mutinous look I agree with vince, your son makes it. H:)
This is fantastic Ken. Even without your son in there it would be nice. With him, this is a special shot...wish he was smiling though. Was he in trouble, "not another picture dad". Nice one! (8
