Steve, Nice composition here, but I think you might consider studying some of your camera settings in greater detail so you have a better idea of how they impact your photos. You're developing a nice eye for some of this, but your unfamiliarity with settings is hurting the quality of your photos. In this one, pump up your ISO to perhaps 400 (maybe a little more) and with this faster film you'll be able to achieve better shutter speed. Then adjust your white balance for the setting you are in. In this case, assuming you're at the Monster Truck Show, it's inside with tungston lighting. Set your white balance to that and your color will improve (you just won't believe how much!). As an added touch, try shooting in "Av" mode (which is aperture priority) and crank open the aperture to as small an f-stop as possible (or "larger aperture"). This put the priority of the camera on the aperture so you are letting as much light in as possible and again, this will allow you to get faster shutter speed (i.e., stopping motion) and keep your photos from being so dark. Well, enough advice for now - other than GET TO KNOW YOUR CAMERA and KEEP SHOOTING!! Best of luck! Dan
