Kim, I have looked through your photos and find this one to be my favorite! I love the perspective and close cropping! And the details are wonderful as is the tones in the b&w! Great job! I for one love the glow! Don't change a thing!

I really like the 'almost-blown-out' look in the highlights - to me it's an important part of the IR look, like a radiation effect. I agree with Becky that this one might call for more centering on the horizontal, but it's a sumptuous image :)

Wow, Kim! The glow is wonderful! It moves me to try something like this. You have such a unique eye...I always love your posts as well as your comments on images that move you.

This one calls to me because of the balance of detail and softness.

I'm digging this one big time... now, you have found the key to my heart. Too much glow? I don't think so. For me, you nailed this one perfectly.

I likes it! I think you did a good job creating the IR look without blowing out the whites. All the detail in the original is preserved. The shot looks just a touch unbalanced - I'm not sure if its because one side is brighter or if there's more room for the petals on the right. Too minor of a nit to worry about, though. The symmetry freak strikes again! :p

Like it of course... me too. Not crazy about the soft focus but it does help with the IR feel. Love the whatever-you-call-them under the petals.

Thanks guys!
I'm still wondering if the left side has taken on too much of a glow, making it too blown out, or if, because detail can still be seen in it, it's okay.

Please let me know what you think... I can work on it more, but I think I like the almost blown out glow.

This is very soft, and very nice, Kim!

Great conmposition! Although I normally don't really like soft-focus shots (more for candy like photography...) I think in this picture it really works well! Good composition and lighting!
