beautiful.... your photo reminds me of a special on PBS regards to elephants and their family unit.
It was the most amazing and heartfelt documentary showing their protective caring nature with family and relatives within the family... even outside of their family... showing a mourning and emotion for those in their community.. amazing..

Very touching image ...
Just wish you had decreased the depth of field so that the elefants in the back are not so visible ... but , of course there is no depth of field preview in the EOS 1000 !!!

Wow! A shot like this with so many greys & browns could easily be boring, but you've captured it so that each object stands out! Good job! Nice persepective! This is not an easy shot to get since animals do not tend to pose for a photographer!

Peppino I see this as a hard image to capture well because the elephants colors would easily blend into the background and make for a soft picture.
You have captured this picture in a way that the subjects don't blend into the background.
Great lighting and focus as well.
Bye the way you have a awesome portfolio, I had a hard time to choose one of your images to comment on. Being short of time I picked the first one and I will come back and comment on others because they certainly deserve it.

Hi Peppino, I think this one is even better than your previous one. The slope in the forground adds a nice perspective, and I think the composition is slightly better balanced. Great shot, my compliments!
