Great original treatment of this subject, the open beak adding drama and the background a natural context. I like your choice of choco-tone, an uncommon one for this sort of subject in my experience. Fine composition and toning. I do wish the top of the head were less burned, but perhaps that occurred in the upload. Good work! Regards.
