The black thing in the corner of the photo is one of the many trash cans that are found in the NYC subway.

Wow I really like the photo you have here. I thought the same thing about the right side, but having cropped it ..i like this version as it is. Good job! I love subways now. i was just in DC for the first time!

Hi Mike. I've got to say that looking at this shot and the cropped version (Quick ID#: 4082)I like this one better. It has more of a sense of place to it. I don't know what the dark object is on the platform to your right, but that's the thing I find distracting. I keep trying to figure out what it is. An escalator maybe?

I do like the subject matter. I've made a similar shot in Montreal in colour which you may find interesting. See Quick ID#: 2187

love this shot... the blur of the train gives me the sense of high rate of speed.... the print seems to have a full tonality range... only thing I don't like is the other posts of the opposite train.. crop them out please .. next time I am in nyc I might have to take a shot like this....
