Hi Lou, A great classic "still life"! Well done. I like the repetition in this image. The patterns of the light on the candles and the shadows, is A1. Here you have everything in one picture. Verticals, horizontals, slants, colour and B&W. Brilliant. Thanks also so much for your recent comments, in particular the 2 images from Ballenberg. It was a nice day out and there are lot's of photo motive to find there. If you ever come over to Switzerland it is well worth a visit. All good things, Neil

Great classic composition, with the main subject at the third left, and its shadow on the right. There is an interesting combination of vertical lines in the chandelier with the horizontal (or almost) ones created by the blind. Also, in the general warm tones, the blue decorative elements stand out. It could be though that the brightest area on the wall is a tad overexposed.
