About This one, again at the "high" quality setting, show more delicate colours. I really don't enjoy using this camera, but I must say I like being able to get close to flowers...

Get rid of the background bushes at the top and you got yourself a winner!

For such a poor camera still a great shot. There are better digital cameras Roger. Regards, Rob.

Everything is wrong with the camera, Antonella. Lucky if one set of batteries lasts for 24 or 36 pictures. Long delay after switching on before the first picture can be taken, delay of several seconds between when I press the shutter and when the photo is actually taken, coarse resolution... BUT it does let me get closer, so I use it--under protest. Oh, and manual adjustments (difficult and complicated to make) only last for ONE SHOT. No memory! Argh!! Two shots? Do it all TWICE! Another thing... the wide end of the zoom ISN'T WIDE. I hate that.

My favourite of the three too. I might have tried to isolate the main blue/white subjects from those two white/yellow bunches in the background by moving the angle a little.

I think this is my favourite of the three, Roger.
The sharp white and blues in the foreground, with a hint of yellow, form a nice contrast to the more blurred guys in the back row!!
Kind regards, Chris

this is very beautiful rog, sharp, colourful well cropped...I think raw is the way of the future for digi cameras...the new PS has a very good raw plugin what you said sounds interesting. I don't like the camera adding extra sharpening to my shots etc, thanks roger

Hugo, the lighting problem is something I keep running into because I pass these flowers only when walking the dog in the very early morning. If there is strong sunlight, it's usually almost horizontal and very "red." The best light is overcast... as it was here. I can get VERY close with the 910, 12 or 15cm? Something like that. But I HATE it as a camera...

Hi Roger, this one is much better balanced. Maybe a tighter crop would've emphasised the subject and the blue - white combination a bit more. How close can you get with the 910? Furthermore, there's that lighting thing again.... ;o)

Cheers,

Hugo
