OK, a college fees protest in Limerick last year. This guy was one of the people who dressed up, got noticed, was photographed loads by the "official" media at it and even had a TV interview!! Good for him, even if the dress doesn't really suit!AND IN ADVANCE I SHOULD HAVE CROPPED THE TOP OUT OF IT AT LEAST!!!!
Well, I didn't know for sure that AIB is a bank but something told me that perhaps it is, as you have now confirmed. That's good, because I think it fits the scene. College fees have to do with bank loans, so it makes sense to have a bank sign in the photo. (There's also the fact that normally you'd associate a bank with people in suits rather than wedding dresses, so it's even funnier.) That's one reason why I wanted to challenge the idea of cropping this. The other reason is that by cropping you'd lose the sign in the top right corner which, should your eye stray that way, a) directs you back into the image and b) points towards the upraised yellow poster and the guy in the background who's holding it, who's also dressed rather unusually, even though this is not apparent at the first glance.
I just think the image would have been better if the big AIB sign wasn't in it. Then again, it could be a good ad for getting the banks to reduce the fees they charge for even the most basic of services! AIB is one of the major banks here in Ireland.
