Nah I didn't pluck the strings, I just laid the guitar down and got as close as possible to the neck and shot it. I use heavy strings so maybe that's why you can see some tension in them.

I love the title.
And the image. Were the strings plucked before exposure? I love to play guitar as well as take photos this is going in my favorites for sure. Great selective focus and DOF. All around an awesome shot Matt.
