I like this guy, what's he doing? Amazing picture. Do you know that the bird in the background (we call it a holy ibis) is also found in Holland? They even breed the last couple of years. Ted

A marvellous bird is the pelican !
Its beak can hold more than its bellycan ;-)
Great photo Linn, I saw one of these in Cyprus fishing at one of the local dams. It had scooped up a carp weighing around 10lbs (3 kilos) and wondered why it couldn't take off ! It finally gave up and dropped the carp, I picked the fish up and put it back in the water and it happily swam off lol Such is life !
