Hi Linn,
I'm writing a "beginners" book for people who are thinking about a career in the human resource field. It's a lot of work, but I do love working at home. Mostly because I can play hooky without feeling guilty, as long as my editor gets a chapter! I'm posting 3 new images shortly--my trip yesterday was very long, but Yosemite, as usual, was incredible, even with a stormy sky.

What are you writing about?
Regarding the distance between your object and the background. Because I have poor eyesight, I tend to want to be "on top" of everything and have my object and background too close together. Robert (hubby) has been trying to convince me to move my object away from the background and of course - he is right :-) I am slow to learn but I can see the difference when I do heed to his advice :-)
I can't even begin to tell you how many images I have dumped just because the background is too much in focus.
Hopefully you will be out and about and get those illusive images your trigger finger is itching for!

Alas, I'm working on a book, and I have a chapter that is over a week late to the editor. Who is getting really ****ed off at me. So, I've not had time to post a new photo. I do, however, obviously have time to look at all these lovely pictures and comment on them. . . Hopefully my editor isn't a UF member! lol
I'm planning a trip to the Sierras tomorrow, I hope to find some snow still on the ground and clear skies. But first . . . best to get off UF and finish this chapter!!!!!
