It is almost impossible to agree totally on every photo, here I really like the green, blurred nature background and your cropping is imho to strong.
About a point in taking a photo, there is normally not a real point in arranging, it is still a pure emotional way of seeing and doing photography for me!
Hi Verena, Need to ponder about this one. I think I would've been staring at you too if it were me sitting on that bench. It is intriguing enough, and the pattern of the smudge is intersting, and I like the details and the little bubbles, but I'm clueless at to what it is, and what it's on.... Those questions do create a bit of tension, but I miss the point behind this shot...
Ofcourse, there doesn't need to be a point, though. I think the composition on itself shows a bit too much of the background. With your permission (I hope) I've changed the composition a bit, removing the entire background...
As you might notice, I find it very difficult to assess this shot....
