I really like the composition of this, with the lights receding into the distance. I even like the branch; it's like black lightning. :) Well done.

Yes - had to be done !! Got an Olympus C8080 - the Canon 10D was just too expensive in Maryland. I would have had to spend $3000 just to get £20 discount lol

Welcome back to Blighty!! I know that jetlag feeling well. Never seems to affect that much on the way out though!
You've not missed a lot - well last Thursday was a little nerve racking, even for a non-football fan like me!
This shot was one of the first night shots I took with the 300D way backn in Feb or something. Still didn't know how to use it properly! Somw would argue I don't even now.
Any significant kit purchases over there? All 1/2 price of buying in the UK isn't it?

I like the mood and atmosphere of the photo. The jpeg artifacts in the sky are really distracting. I would save at a much higher quality level.
Also, the branch from the tree seems a bit like a mistake, rather than something that was intentionally composed in the shot. I like the idea of the tree to anchor it, but composing it so that the tree is a bit more...intentional would be better. Either that or compose it without the tree. Just my opinion.
Regards,
Steve
