softball, flowers - oh is there NO HOPE FOR ME? Thank goodness I am going back for a holiday ( not a vacation- lets get into BritSpeak here to the grimy cobbled streets and back to back terraces... Wait a minute I am staying in Cambridge- the original one not all the same name ones that litter the US so maybe grime and cobbles will be in short supply for starters...
Dear Gabrielle, Thanks for clearing that up up for me. I had an idea it was something like this. Just couldn't relate the flower photo to your mood. I have felt like this many times in my life. That out of place feeling and looking at the greener grass in the next pasture.
Say... maybe Cambridges would be better. I enjoyed a day at Cambridge, MA, once a upon a time.
Identity crisis thats all- who am I and where am I and where do I belong? So the crisis is reflected in the flower post- that is/was unusual for me to take. Let me get back to my roots (the UK) and I will also find I am somewhat out of place- I have left you see and am "just visiting".
It would be interesting wouldnt it to visit all the Manchesters in the US - great idea!
Gabrielle, this photo is very lovely but I don't understand your narrative as it relates to this photo. After your vacation(oops - holiday) is over, then what? Your next holiday, may I suggest a trip to some of our Cambridges, Manchesters, and yes even Londons that "litter" our country.
