Hi Eric, looking at Kim's nose, it looks as if the DOF is not quite adequate; a tad too shallow. The eyes are perfectly in focus, but the nose is already a bit soft. The close crop is quite effective, and takes this shot out of the ordinary Pet mug shots. Maybe cropping a bit off the left side would balance the composition a bit more. Excellent tones and highlights in the fur. Good one.
