Great composition, and the framing is excellent. Deep blue skies are a result of the Nikon. I didn't get this result before. Don.

Fabulous sky, greatly complimented by the frame.
Chris, are you familiar with the work of Lowell Herero? He is a USA painter and produces the most incredible cat, cow and farm paintings. If you haven't seen any of his work, a www search will bring you many URL's.
Any how - when I saw the thumbprint, I immediately thought of Herero, because I am a fan of his work. Your cow is exactly what I would imagine him want to paint ... except he would add a cat and probably a chicken or two as well :-))
Love this ... simplicity, endearing and quality.

Excellent photo Chris ... so Mrs S normally mows the lawn ??? There must be some secret I am missing .... I cannot get my wife to cut the grass under any circumstances and even have to bribe my 11yr old with £5 ... even that doesn't always work !
