About A tawny owl lands on a picnic table at the Falconry and Animal Centre, Bossington.

Beautiful animals, they were free to fly away ~ i.e. not strings attached! It was breathtaking watching them fly, especially when they flew within inches of your ear!! Believe me, held on tight to my?

D70! :>)

Actual readings: 1/1250th sec at f8.

Best regards to all, Chris

P.S. Thanks to all my UF friends who've sent their best wishes to lovely wife, Carole. Her surgery went well this morning and she seems to be making a good recovery, though there's still a way to go!!

Great capture (photo of course :)
I love owls, have not seen many of them however.

Interesting frame, 'owl pattern'...of course I LOVE it!

It looks like a bell at the bottom of one foot/claw. And something at the other foot (?) Trying to figure it out!! Or a stray/squraggly feather! (did I say 'squraggly'?? LOL)

Nice work, Chris,
Lori :)

An excellent image.. Well exposed. I might suggest that you put a highlight in each eye to make them seem alive. Don.
