About As I saw the sky begin to turn red and gold at the back of my house last evening, I grabbed by D70, jumped into the car and drove down to Church Lane ~ one of my favourite spots in Martock.

From the end of the lane you can look past the old cedar tree to the farm in the distance and the start of the Somerset levels.

It was so peaceful down there ~ and the sky was breathtaking!! I'm glad to be able to share it with you!!

Have a great weekend!

Best regards,

Chris

Oh yes ... this all came together for you! Excellent black silhouettes against that gorgeous sunset sky! Well taken Chris.
Linn
PS : We went down to the dairy farm yesterday - I tried shooting the sunset but oh boy - I am dumping all my images :-( Utterly boring :-( Robert says to "Chin up" because once our Summer is here, the clouds will come with it and that will help. I hope so! :-)

Wow Chris, this is spectacular. Once in many settings will you get this beautiful result. The use of the big tree is what makes this an outstanding photograph. Don.
