Dan,
I actually use Ulead Photoimpact 8 more so than I do my photoshop, alot of the same elements. That is how I did this, with the color spot filter vignetted and made almost transparent. Hope this helps.

Place them against a white or light colored wall. The light fixture and the open door in the background detracts from the photo. Nice vignetting
