In addition to being a known and respected researcher/writer, Ray is (as should be any old Irishman) a fantastic storyteller. A snap from a family wedding, this picture catches Ray just finishing a tale involving horses, a bit too much to drink, and a Scotsman who'd soiled himself. He's a character, to say the least.
