About As a young man in the late 50's and into the 60's.. I was a test.and race driver for MERCURY OUTBOARD MOTORS .... whata job .. would have done it free. Anyway.. I went back to the testing base in fla. .. to do a story. I took this 26' test boat. powered by twin 200 Mercs .. out for a trial run. This was in 1991. Makes for a colorful Image.
