Wow - the detail is amazing in this. The color is too! What a great shot. I could spend all day here in your portfolio (seriously!).

Thanks for your comments for my photos.
Heath, this is truly amazing shot! Most of all I like the idea and the fact thyt you didn't need 8.5 fps camera like Kodak DSC Pro to catch the perfect moment. Really superb.

You know what, the dunes just jump up and fall down in a twinkle of an eye. Nobody can capture them, but you could :)

its a good lens, but I can't pretend that I know too much about it - it is a friends camera. I own a D70. The lens is 70-200, with 200-300 being used only for Macro. There are some other shots I my page that are taken with this lens - Macro focus is illustrated by the 'landing' and the other bee shot next to it. It can be hard with macro because it isn't the fastest lens. Not even sure if it can go down to 1:1! Best advice is to do some net research.

Cheers

Hi Heath, A very good capture, in all aspects. I like the combinations of tones and the very well balanced composition. Well timed, too. Very good job!

Cheers,

Hugo
