This is stunning! The only thing that would have made it better would be to get even lower and lose the wire/fence in the shot... probably close to impossible.
What you did get is gorgeous! The colours in the sky are so vivid and alive and I love how you used the bullrush in the foreground to tie ground and sky together!

Hi Phil..thanks for your recent comment. You have some nice images, and a great opportunity that I truly envy - to explore this magnificent area. As someone else who started out in visual communications, but is also serious about thier image/photography work as well I can understand the connection and drive to find the perfect image.

yeah, i saw the moon the day before the blue moon, i will get those negatives back today... the 31st was cloudy here in colorado as well, but the moon popped out for about 5 minutes, but what so high in the sky that it looked small. i was hoping to get it on the rise from the horizen.. ohhh well, i got this sunset picture instead... thanks for the comment ryan
