Use of a polariser would have really brought out the marvellous colours in the water and runoff around it (check my photos of Yellowstone).
Other than that, it looks great. Have a similar shot somewhere with a less interesting sky (was cloudless when I visited Yellowstone, which we were happy for after 3 days of overcast weather in Jackson Hole).

Stunning shot. I remember visiting Yellowstone in my youth. I have to get back out there because it is such a beautiful place.

Very nice Phillip. Very even tones and the steam is excellent, I never get the steam or mist to show correct. Excellent image. Phillip I have been away, but to answer you about hiking I would love to hike some with you. I have a leg injury right now but it's healing good. I will get a hold of you and maybe we can do a hike or two :)

Phillip Did you do a horizontal shot if this pool to show the whole thing ? I know the pool well. What a place eh ? There are photo ops at every turn. post more of your shots !! jimc This shoot nicely done, good clouds when you needed them !! good work
