Welcome back! I missed your images! So you have also joined the elite group of D70 owners? :-)) Though I am soooooooo jealous and still green with envy ... my heartiest congratulations and here's wishing you only great images! Beautiful stunning church! Fabulous angle, great capture of colours and textures. If this is what you are achieving being a D70 rookie, then I expect that you will be having us in awe when you master the manual settings. Well done Gloria! Your jealous friend Linn

I hope you enjoyed your vacation, I like the vertical shot here the blue sky with the scattered clouds appears beautiful as of the background for the lovely building, I agree with chris about the staircase, wonderful place, Saeed

Just had to add that whenever anyone calls for me and they are told I am not home, their reply is "What, is she out taking pictures again? :-) and you are right everyone is always looking for something for me to shoot yet they all think I am nuts but that could be because I lay on the front lawn to shoot the sky or set up my tripod in the middle of the road to catch the moon.

Thank you Chistine....yes, I know just what you mean....I have over 800 photos that I took, and often I was asked...what in the world are you photographing now?? Lol...as I told my family, you just never know...it might be the one that surprises you. By the end of my stay, everyone was pointing out scenes for me to capture, lol..I think they had almost as much fun as I did!

Beautiful quaint church Gloria. The colours, textures and light are all so picture perfect. Even the sky co-operated. (ps: you sound like me when I got my new camera, I finally got around to experimenting with all the different settings, great thing about digital, no film wasted and no processing costs)

Hi Jim, yes I thought of my beach patrol often when I was huddled under my poncho, trying to stay warm. But I must admit, altho I was not here to comment, I thought of you and all my other friends as I photographed different sites...all the support and helpful suggestions do more then any instruction manual.
