The lens that came with the camera is the best. I am going to get one for my camera, since i bought just the body.

Ooops...I made an error Jim...the lens that came with the camera is a nikor 18-70mm af-s. I really do not understand any of it...but those are the numbers and letters found on the lens, lol...Gloria
