you did better than I did on the flowers - we discussed how unclematis like the clematis was and there you go identifying it. It is a cure frame isnt it - it is a walled garden at the back of my in-laws home in Lincolnshire

Frame! Duh! I guess I was too busy trying to ID the flowers (Clematis, Cosmos, Lobelia) to see the frame. Sharpening seems to help a lot on monitors, especially if one has used a scanner to "aquire" the image. Color casts can be problematic, too, so PS is fine, but when people start removing things and cropping way down and switching colors, well then... Neat planter box.

I have just got PhotoShop Elements on my pc at home and am experimenting at tweaking my images slightly. I just marginally altered the colour and sharpened it a touch oh and of course put a frame around it. I think the frame has possible the most impact for a picture that is viewed on a monitor. Other enhancements would be more relevant for printing an image.

Nice 'nature' image. Great the composition of the flowers with the wall as background. Interesting the little blue flowers at the ground.
