About I took this using the incredible 'selective time' mode on my Nikon D70. This magnolia flower was actually way past its best, all dried up and tattered about the edges, but the amazing D70 'selective time' function enabled me to rewind 3 or 4 days to a point at which the flower was at the zenith of its beauty!!

Another triumph for Nikon technology?

and another dose of complete Spracklen gibberish!! :-) Still what else can you say about a shot like this?!

Sleep well everyone!!

Best regards, Chris

P.S.. Actual settings were 1/1250th of a second at f11. The 70-300mm was fully extended.

With such selective time function, will it enable Den to take a picture of me and rewind about 20 years?????
Lovely magnolio shot, it looks quite regal, like a crown in the middle

A Magnolia sieboldii I believe Chris, seemed to have seen one of these before, have a vague recollection of photographing one of these in the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornwall - Dad

Here I am seriously reading that first 'blurb', thinking to myself 'WHAT'?? I'm missing something here...(or Chris is!)

HOW FUNNY YOU ARE TONIGHT!
Doesn't bother me in the slightest that it's ready for the great 'flower boneyard'!!
Still a good image!
Lori ;)

Great composition and such a great presentation. I think Chris has been sippin the wine a little too much in his description of this picture. Any way this is a great image Chris. Don.
