Thanks for dropping by, Craig. Most of my energy these days goes into MF panoramas on my rotary camera, which don't look too good on Usefilm and attract little interest, so I'm posting fewer pictures and tend to get behind with my commenting. You're right about the foreground, and in fact I have already "burned" it in as much as I can without introducing obvious artifacts. These may be a limitation of my program, PaintShop pro v7. The light was really harsh...

Hi Roger; another street scene with a wealth of interesting detail and color and very nice composition. The foreground is a little "hot", and I'd be tempted to tone it down some in an editing program. Actually, this scene is outside the dynamic range of film or digital-- I run into that all the time myself. I can see you wouldn't want to lose shadow detail either. I like the scene. Cheers. Craig

My trip trhough Japan by looking at your photos is very interesting. Lovely shot of a tiny restaurant, sometimes the small places have good food for reasonable prices. Maybe in this case as well, I wonder weather the greenery is used for spicing the meal ))

A nice travel type photo which would be enhanced IMO by some people.

I took a portrait-mode shot with the coloured concrete largely excluded but preferred this one for the contrast. We didn't eat there, though... we ate at the Electric Brandy place.

No problem with the verticals on this one, Roger!! An excellent shot of this fascinating scene! What a great juxta-position of buildings! The question is, 'have you ever eaten there?' Kind regards, Chris
