great colors and detail. this is a really neat shot. wonder if the bee was moving or sleeping. i once photographed one in this position and it was asleep , never moved.

Hi Chris;..... seems to me that this is a somewhat unusual image for you, but I must say that it's excellent in all respects. I especially like the lighting on the bee-- it's perfect-- and the BG is beautiful. This is very, very nicely done-- my congratulations! Cheers. Craig

Lovely photo Chris, I love the composition and colour.
I have a photo of a similar plant but a different colour - not sure what this is.
I must say though, I disagree with the bee's choice of hat ;-)
