Dear Gayle,
very cool contrast composing. really like the strong silhouettes, the glow in the middle, the vignetting... the grain is a bit hard as it tends to be very colorful. you may try to cut a tad from the left to get the picture divided in thirds(at the moment, the split is in the middle).
anyway, strong work.

Such drama. In a moment I'll see the huge spaceship slowly emerge from the bright light. You make such a smooth, natural transition from the light to the dark - not an easy task. It was probably easy for you though, being as skilled and accomplished as you are.
