Another dip into your portfolio, Dave, and this one stood out again. Pin sharp where it needs to be, the detail is amazing. Really stunning work.

Unless I'm mistaken, your unbelievably well captuted grasshopper stands on a pomegranate. I make this remark because in a few days we are celebrating the Jewish New Year and it's customary to put a pomegranate on the table, its fullness symbolizing plenty. All in all your "its mine...all mine" is a macro the likes of which I've not seen for a long time, Dave. Each feature is sharp, the dof excellent and the colors magnificent.
Thanks for commenting on my "Pretty cashier".
Regards,
Rafi

Hi Dave, excellent Macro. Sharpness is supberb. This is where the Fuji really does well. Nice capture. Did he lose one antennae.

This is really nice. I can even see your reflection (I think) in his eye. Do you carry a tube of superglue with you or did you just hypnotize him with flattering words so he didn't jump away? This is really an enviable capture.

Absolutely EXCELLENT macro Dave. And proud you should be. Great colours and lighting to say nothing of sharpness and DOF. Must get an award surely.
