About Ouch! That was bad!!

Sorry! ;-/ My puny (punny!) sense of humour got the better of me!

These were left over from the Harvest Festival celebrations at Milton Abbey. Just a pity about the bright light from the window!!

catch you again later!

Best regards,

Chris

Hi Chris; this is a wonderfully funny photo-- the pumkin catches the viewer completely off guard and is a very pleasant surprise-- made me smile! At first I didn't recognize the gourds, but they fit right in here. I think the light from the window in the upper right adds to the character of this photo and balances the lighting? Cheers. Craig

The light in the window is noticable but without the window light you would not know where the highlight was coming from on the pumpkin. Great texture and detail. Just in looking how about cropping the left side to take out the window and then the pumpkin would not be centered. Just my ideas rolling around today. Don.

Nice photo Chris, I agree with Howie, the window is a little disturbing but it is fixable.

Like it Chris!
The pumpkin adds just anough color!
If You cropped this just below the window and made a kind of panoramic scene it looks pretty neat!
I just moved the image up on the monitor to see what it would look like!
Any way good work Pastor!
Thanks for Your always kind comments!
Have a great Sat.!
I am suppose to go with My pastors band ( Crown of thorns)to a concert at a boys rehab tonight. Will take some photos and help out a bit.We will be worshipping the LORD!!!

The windows light doesn't bother me either.
The subject and detail of the architecture draw the eye away from the light..very nice!

I dont know how proficient you are with photoshop Chris but it would be possible to make a second exposure for the window, create a layer and bring back the darker layer of the window?

I like it as is anyhow and the window doesn't bother me. Nice light and good composiiton. Well done.
