About The birds, that is, not me!

Just thought I'd throw another spanner in the works!! You'd probably not believe what I did to this if I told you, but I just felt the need to try something different after several uploads of Dorset landscapes! ;-)

The first one to spot the Temple of Thebes in this picture should immediately take themselves to casualty!

I've a busy day ahead of me! Off to Exeter in a couple of hours (it's now 6.25am!!); set up P.A. and A.V. stuff; take a service; have lunch with good friends; shoot a few pic's (if the weather's nice ~ it wasn't!); drive home; set up for another service; take that one too; then do a pastoral visit!!

Sounds tiring! I think I'll go back to bed! ;-)

Have a great Sunday!

Best regards to all,

Chris

When could the man fly in this way, without artificial wings or Boeing stuff...
You could communicate that sensation!
Congrats

The result is very artistic and I like it very much!

A great effect you have created for the birds.
I looks like it was shot against a water background. Whatever you have done it is wonderful. Don.

:-) It looks like wooden birds flying in a cotton sky...
I understand what you mean by liking the photo...but not finding it good enough. I feel that way all the time..so I have to ruin everything I see!!! :-)Hard work, actually... ;-)
I like it....and especially I like the birds flying.. always reminds me of optimal freedom... there's something facinating with the fact that they do fly...and....the movements are like a dance in the sky....lovely! :-)
Hm...I'm talking... sorry....LOL
ENJOY your day ON... I'm sure it will turn out just wonderfull...and when you go to bed tonight you'll feel good about what you did today...
- on the other hnad..I'll feel good about doing nothing... and the cake..and the book...and...my kids..and..and.. :-)

Hugs..
Merete

Good point, Douglas!

The title was inspired by the fact that something startled this flock of gulls, so they took off, fle around in a circle, and then landed about 10 feet from where they started!

Nice idea about the card, though. I may work on that!

Kind regards, Chris

Another image or post card for the 'Bereaved' I assume and for the 'Glory of God' also I hope!

Great job but the fowls of the air and the beasts of the land worry not where their food comes from and they do indeed know where they are going!

Here's the original for comparison?

It was sharp ? so I blurred it.

It was dull ? so I brightened it up

Some of the birds were in the wrong place ? so I moved them

It lacked a bit of depth and texture ? so I added some

Why did I bother? Because, deep down, I liked it!
