Reminds of my son at this age. He is now 16 and still get's almost as much pleasure from being at the beach!! But he does get embarressed at the idea of bringing the bucket and spade. I expect he'll really look forward to taking his own one day. Funny how some simple pleasures never change.

I used to live 20mins from the beach - now a 2hr drive and the biggest thing I miss about moving away!
