Hi Thilo, thanks for your comment. I usually get the black background the same way in my macro. I try to isolate (hope I'm using the right word) the object, flower o insect, leaving nothing behind it. I then use flash, with speed 1/500 and f22 at least, so everything that is a few centimetres behind the object becomes black. I allways do it that way :)
