About It's not been the absolute pinnacle of days off! Grey skies and hard, fine rain that gets in everywhere put a stop to our visit to Stourhead. Still, we had a great lunch ~ 'Penne al pollo del casa', or something like that! It was positively delish!

So I haven't got any brand-new up-to-the-minute pic's for you, I'm afraid! :-/ Just this rather nice path and door from a house in my home village of Martock.

Till the next time!

Best regards to all?

Chris

CS takes more resources than my computers have, but I've seen something similar in PowerRetouche tools.

Simple but quite subtle composition... the square format works well. Perfect exposure (or very careful dodge and burn). Very pleasant indeed, Chris.

'Penne al pollo del casa' ... sound very italian... so, I guess you eat well, isn't it?

Great picture Chris as in your style.

What? You've run out of 'brand new up to the minute' pics? Not like you Chris, LOL.

But you came up with a nice one anyway. Good composition on this one.

Actually, I'm still thinking about the red leaf one, didn't leave a comment yet, trying to come up with a name that is more corny! LOL
Lori :)

I like your shot but from the title of the "Penne al pollo" I can suppose an italian food and it would be nice to see some image of it :)) on the other hand I am sure the shot was the last of your thoughts watching at Penne al pollo :)))

Lovely shot Chris, very colourful. I like the balance of it all. That door is extra wide or very low so that you have to duck when you enter. Knowing your dislike of distractions, I'm surprised you haven't taken out the pipe and cable on the left hand side. Just mentioning - not crit.

Thanks, M.!
Sooo nice to hear from you!! ;-)
We live in a beautiful village, full of interesting and very old houses. I could almost run a whole series on 'doors of Martock'!!
Have a good evening.
Hugs to you?
Chris

Wonderful shot, my only critique would be to crop the lower portion just a bit. But really it's a minor critique, everything is really well done here.

Bright and sunny...I like that! Lovely flowers that reminds me of the summer... mmmmmmmmmm... and..a funny, little door that makes me wonder... who can get thru that?????????? Not me..I'm afraid... :-/

I'm sorry about the bad weather today, but bad weather can always bring time for thinking...and wondering...and... relaxsation.. :-) Hope you enjoyed the day afterall..

Hugs
Merete
