Thanks, Guys and Gals, for all your kind comments on my first "Floral" batch. I spent a number of hours Sunday last shooting 15+ pics. each of flowers 1 to 4, experimenting with reflectors for my first attempt and posted the best 4 for critiquing and input. For this pic., I had two minutes before meeting Marilyn and saw this Fanjipani (so she tells me :-) which was 7 feet off the ground. I stood on tip toes on a kerb stone, zoomed in and grabbed 1 shot hand held before dashing off. Methinks, as a street shooter, I should approach florals the same way - i.e., don't think too much, just grab the shot :-) Anyhow, thanx again. So, next project - studio lighting. Long set-up and testing or just grab shots? Hmmmm..........
Nice pic Ray. I would have liked to see a "bit" more of a higher shot so I could see a little bit more of the inside of the flower. I do like all the colours though. I agree with Toni about the crop. Good Photo.
