I was not the one who asked about the camera, but if you are using digital like 300d etc... they usually focus on the subject with the highest contrast, which would be the cars in front, I actully like it the way it is, I though you did it on purpose.... by the way you portraits are self portraits, so instead of saying your subject has pretty eyes, I should have said you do. :) take care....
