I like the way you've centred the oblivion. Really does convey for me a fear of what lies ahead, of the future. I wouldn't drive along this road too quickly. The grain certainly adds to the atmosphere. Regards, Gary

Thanks for the comment, Deb. It was like another world with the snow blanketing the ground, the frost clinging to everything, and the fog hanging thick in the air. A photographer's paradise! Kurt

I see that I goofed when I entered the film type. This was shot on Kodak Professional ULTRA COLOR 400 film, not B&W. I desaturated it in PS, but the only color that was in the original was yellow in the lines on the road. Kurt

Thanks Dave. This was taken the Monday after Christmas when it suddenly turned very cold after a brief warm-up. The trees were covered with beautiful frost and the fog lasted until nearly noon. This is the road in front of my home. Best wishes, Kurt

Very nice the way the road disappears into the fog. Lucky for such a clean road, good contrasty photo!
Best, Dave

What is in front of us, we do not know.
What is behind us, we don't want to show.
The future is unknown, the words are not yet written.
But forward we must go, as life will soon enlighten.
