Mark - I just discovered your portfolio - its is great. As a Trans Tasman Cousin ( I live in Tasmania) I know what beautiful places we both live in. What is frustrating to me when I visited the North Island last year was how much there was to see and how little time I had to explore - Local knowledge gives us the edge - well done. I have been doing quite a bit of work with stitching images - the ones that you will see in my portfolio to date are before I purchased a PAN head - email me if you want info on Rotation around teh Nodal Point and so on to get better stitching - great portfolio - I said that already :-) dtasker@netspace.net.au

Hi Brad

Yeah I used a poor mans panoramic. A wide angle lens and chopping off some of the top and bottom.
Have a great new year.

Cheers

Dreamy and for some reason, dizzying, to me. Is there a secret hidden geometrical pattern designed to mess with my head, here?? I actually like the clarity very much here. Did you crop or stitch?? Excellent job, Mark!

Wow, I agree with Shane, this should be printed very, very large. It's so gorgeous, it hurts. Inspiring image.

Mark,
Awesome job all around. That fact I had to ask pretty much says it all. Now you need to print it about 2 meters wide ;o)
I looked at some of your other shots and you have some really great stuff!

Hi Shane

Yeah there is a little bit. The bottom half of the image is pretty much as is though the colour was saturated a bit more than the original. The top half had a blueish tint added to it as it was was a little too washed out and grey.

Cheers
Mark
