About Aren?t the chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction which has unfortunately been only a hot topic on the agenda during the cold war era being produced even today therefore constitutes a major threat to our daily lives?
Aren?t the tobaco producers who chose the third world countries as a target market producing and pushing millions of weapons of mass destruction on a daily basis?
The work tittled ?cold war? which is constructed through a single shot photograph is based upon these thoughts, reflections and contemplations.

Sort of. I work for NewTek, and helped get our original Video Toaster code out the community as open source.

That, and I am an evangelist of FireFox!
Everyone I speak to takes about 3 minutes convincing them to abandon IE and jump to Firefox; none have been disappointed.

Nice concept, well executed.
I understood the moment I saw your photo; your explanation was not necessary at all, Nevruz.

I am in comoplete agreement!

Strong and true message, I don't mind a political discussion because I believe that art is a very successful channel to portrait our world, not only in its beauty, but also in its ugliness and cruelty. If this is not the case we would not have the Guernica, "The Second of May, 1808", "The Third of May, 1808", the Illiad, the Emperor Concert, the guy standing in front of the tank in Tiennamen Square, the crying naked girl in Vietnam and so many other masterpieces.

I think that tobacco is just a small example, what about arms traffic, cultural poisoning, religion through wars and erradication of cultural values in the name of God, the pervasiveness and virulent infiltration of English in other languages, the movie industry and the infectious export of American values, Microsoft Windows, there are so many things that need to be said...

On the other hand, we have beautiful things to show like our backyards and I can see children from so many far-away places playing in the same way mine do, I see the same flowers that we have in Canada flowering in Australia or Poland; it's wonderful to be able to communicate with lots of people from other cultures and history and collaborate in fora or Open Source projects like Linux.

Thanks for sharing.

Francisco

strong subject. I don't want to start a political discussion (this is not the place here).
But I like the way you visualized it for this photo, interesting concept.
