I'll look forward to seeing the results. I'd also suggest politely "relocating" the foreground chair (on the right in this image) when you reshoot:-)
Also, I don't think the film you entered for this is correct! This is clearly in color and T-Max 400 is a B/W film, right?

Good idea but suffers from having lost half of the interesting stuff in the foreground and on the right. I think a better shot would be looking square-on and one of the following: a)the entire scene - vendor, posters and array of colored containers b)vendor and containers only c)posters only May be you can reshoot this along these lines.
A straight close-up portrait of the man would also be interesting I think.
