Only notice now,I've got about same shot of Hibiscus Linn.
short live they got,yes about 3days x 3 flowers,makes it 9 days of flower and than have to wait 3 months to start all over.
Thats how my Hibiscus potplant is doing it.

Hah, very delicate choice in DOF you made here ..
Still a nice shot, full of colours ..
Did you consider using a higher F-value to get the pistils sharp as well ? And you even used ISO60 .. i know, it was a hand shot, not with tripod ?

Linn, a beautifully taken photo, lovely exposure, making it look very clean. Also well framed. I think slightly more DOF would have helped, as I would like to see the blurry red stigma ends better - they distract somewhat as they are. The diagonal works well. A very good photo.
