What remarkable little formations. I wonder if they are the remains of footsteps where the snow was compacted and made more dense. Beautiful detail and sharpness all the way from here to there. Alison, you do a very nice job.

So neat, the ice looks kind of stranded!! Hm...i would crop the sky too, but leave the water and a bit of the sand above the water.

That's really quite amazing - little 'mesas' of ice! I wonder what the determining factor was for where it melted and where it didn't? I think I agree with Ian that a crop off the top would be good - the bright sky is a little distracting. Maybe to the bottom of the tree line, leaving the little strip of beach? Neat shot!

Interesting how the ice mimicks the rocks, must stil be cold to stay like that. Whilst I admire the depth the distant detail seems a bit distracting so wonder about a crop down to the water as an alternative take.

Amazing! Ice lying on the ground!!!!!! Wow. It is 64 F here this morning. Colors and details are good. Love the composition in this shot.
